According to FOX Busines reporter Eleanor Terrett on the X platform, U.S. Senator Bill Hagerty has said he will push the SEC to focus on crypto regulatory clarity because the industry needs to have a proper ecosystem ...... Otherwise it will push crypto outside of the non-US. However, SEC Chairman Gary Gensler countered that there is a difference between violating the law and disliking the law and a lack of clarity.Bill Hagerty said that there is still a lot of uncertainty and lack of clarity about the SEC's initiatives, but that "it doesn't have to be this way."
