Sylvamo has filed documents with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), announcing that selling shareholders plan a secondary offering of common stock, with the issuance scale up to 6.3 million shares.

The US Dollar Index opened lower on Monday and then fluctuated, once dropping 0.29% to 99.04, currently trading around 99.058. Non-US currencies generally saw slight gains; GBP/USD once rose 0.3%, hitting a one-week high at 1.3474; EUR/USD once climbed 0.34% to 1.1637; both the Australian and New Zealand dollars are currently up about 0.46%.

WTI crude oil gapped lower on Monday, dropping 4.9%, now quoted at $95.58 per barrel.

Spot gold opens higher by about 0.8%, quoted at $4,545.99 per ounce.

U.S. crude oil futures opened nearly 4% lower at $92.43 per barrel, due to market optimism over progress in U.S.-Iran negotiations.
