Burry stated on Monday that his previous investment thesis, which aimed to transform GameStop into a Berkshire Hathaway-style company through acquisitions, was not compatible with the large-scale debt financing required for the acquisition of an exchange. Therefore, he chose to exit his investment.
According to Bitget market data, GameStop fell 10.14% on Monday to $23.84.
