But here's where traders get trapped: A coin pumps 20–30%. Everyone notices. Everyone starts talking about it. Then late buyers enter. And the original buyers start taking profit. If BTC starts losing structure while an altcoin is already massively extended, I'm much more careful. Because when liquidity leaves the market: BTC usually reacts first. High-beta alts can react MUCH harder. Look at what actually matters: 🟢 PRICE Is the trend making higher highs and higher lows? 🟢 VOLUME Are real buyers supporting the move? 🟢 LIQUIDITY Is money actually entering the market, or is the move happening in thin conditions? 🟢 BTC Is Bitcoin supporting the move? 🟢 RETEST After the breakout, does the old resistance become support? This is the part most traders ignore. A +30% candle gets attention. A successful retest tells you whether the move has structure. That difference matters. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🔥 HERE'S HOW I'M READING THE CURRENT MARKET BTC remains the main filter. If BTC holds its structure, selected altcoins can continue attracting liquidity. If BTC suddenly loses major support, high-beta coins can give back days of gains in hours. That's why I'm not interested in blindly chasing: QNT HBAR ZEC SOL XRP or any other coin simply because it's trending. I want to see what happens AFTER the move. Does price hold? Does volume remain healthy? Do buyers defend the breakout?
