Aave Proposes Restructuring of Bug Bounty Program, Core Aave V3 Maximum Bounty to Increase to $5 million
BlockBeats News, May 15th, Aave Labs has proposed a restructuring of the Aave DAO bug bounty system, splitting various protocol modules into multiple independent bounty programs to be separately managed by Immunefi, Sherlock, and Cantina. As part of this proposal, the maximum bounty for a critical vulnerability in Aave V4 is set to be increased from $500,000 to $2.5 million, while the maximum bounty for a critical vulnerability in the core version of Aave V3 is set to be increased from $1 million to $5 million. The proposal also plans to transfer the responsibility of the Aave V3 on Aptos bug bounty funds from Aave Labs to the Aave DAO and to evaluate the effectiveness of a multi-platform parallel operating model over the next 6 to 12 months.

HSBC: Australian housing prices will decline
Paul Bloxham, Chief Economist at HSBC, stated that as these concerns were anticipated, banks have been increasing their provisions for bad debts. The bank currently expects that year-on-year housing prices will remain flat in 2026, while prices will continue to decline in 2027, with an expected drop of between 2% and 6% that year. Bloxham added that the previously strong investor demand in smaller cities, including Perth and Brisbane, has subsided, which is also expected to cool down these markets.
