According to the Snapshot governance page, the Aave community has voted in favor of the proposal "Adding PYUSD to Aave V3 on the Ethereum network." PYUSD is a USD stablecoin launched by PayPal and issued by Paxos. Currently, its circulating supply has exceeded $230 million.
