US tech stocks fell across the board, with the Nasdaq opening down more than 1%
US stocks opened, the Dow rose about 40 points, the S&P 500 fell 0.58%, and the Nasdaq fell 1.18%. Star tech stocks collectively declined, Alphabet (GOOGL.O) dropped over 5%, Meta Platforms (META.O) dropped nearly 3%, Tesla (TSLA.O), Nvidia (NVDA.O) both dropped over 2%, Alibaba (BABA.N) fell 1.3%.
