Glassnode analyst Checkmatey stated in a post that when the Bitcoin Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) began trading, GBTC held over 619,000 bitcoins worth more than $28 billion. In the past three months, almost half of these holdings, or 296,000 bitcoins (representing 1.5% of total bitcoin supply), have been sold. The current net asset value (AUM) of GBTC is still $23 billion.
