Former Los Angeles mayor hired as policy advisor for Coinbase
Former mayor of Los Angeles, Antonio Villaraigosa, has been hired as a policy advisor for Coinbase. Villaraigosa will join the global advisory board of the cryptocurrency exchange. Coinbase's Chief Policy Officer, Faryar Shirzad, stated that Villaraigosa will provide advice to Coinbase's leadership team to advance "global economic freedom."
