Odaily News John Bigatton, a well-known promoter of the trading platform Bitconnect, was convicted by a Sydney court. According to the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), Bigatton promoted Bitconnect through seminars and social media between August 2017 and January 2018. Bigatton did the above without the necessary financial services license. According to the verdict, he was disqualified from managing the company for the next five years. (Cointelegraph)
