Aave is currently assessing the community's interest level in deploying Spiderchain on the Bitcoin L2 network
According to CoinDesk, lending platform Aave is seeking community feedback to gauge interest in deploying Spiderchain on the Bitcoin L2 network. The driving force behind the protocol, Aave-Chain Initiative (ACI), has issued a call for opinions on a proposal by Spiderchain developer Botanix Labs aimed at expanding lender scale and locking over $17 billion worth of funds in the emerging Bitcoin DeFi environment. After collecting feedback, the protocol will need to identify and mitigate potential security risks. ACI has not yet provided an expected timeline for this process.
