On November 24, according to community news, ai16z founder Shaw stated that a recent AI meme coin Mat LevAIn was not released by his team but is based on the ai16z framework. Shaw also mocked comments related to Mat LevAIn coin on social media platforms.
Possibly affected by this news, the token ai16z nearly halved in value over the past 3 hours, with its market cap dropping from $260 million at its lowest to $126 million and currently reported at $155 million.
