Farcaster will launch a new data layer, Snapchain, which can keep applications synchronized
Co-founder of the decentralized social protocol Farcaster, Varun Srinivasan, tweeted that Farcaster will launch a new data layer called Snapchain to keep applications synchronized. Written in Rust, Snapchain can handle over 10,000 TPS and will support millions of daily users. Snapchain will allow users to make unlimited transactions for an annual fee and it will also recycle old transactions to save disk space.
