On February 8th, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization Vice Director Zhang Hongtao stated on the 2025 Global Developer Pioneer Conference media briefing that the scale of Shanghai's artificial intelligence industry will exceed 400 billion yuan in 2024, with a year-on-year growth rate of over 7%, achieving the "14th Five-Year Plan" goal ahead of schedule. The reporter learned from the meeting that by the end of 2024, Shanghai had completed the record-filing of 60 generative artificial intelligence service models, ranking second in the country in terms of quantity.
