Brian Quintenz said on social media that he was honoured to be nominated by Donald Trump to be the next chairman of the US CFTC.
He said that he served as a commissioner of the CFTC in the previous Trump administration, and that the CFTC plays a key role in maintaining price discovery in the marketplace, as well as ensuring that the US is a world leader in blockchain technology and innovation.
Brian Quintenz also said he looks forward to working with President Trump's excellent financial regulatory team
