Sonic Labs EVM Layer-1 recently showed strong underlying data performance: 10,000 TPS, low cost, and rapid ecological development

On February 20th, the official news stated that Sonic has processed over 25 million transactions, attracted 758,000 independent addresses to participate, deployed 58,000 smart contracts, and exceeded the total lock-up value (TVL) of $500 million. The network operates at a speed of 10,000 transactions per second (TPS), with sub-second final confirmation and low transaction fees, supplemented by aBFT security mechanism, which is favored by developers.

 

The total transaction fees have accumulated over $316,000, with decentralized exchange ShadowOnSonic contributing significantly, accounting for over 30% of all transactions and fees. In addition, Sonic's innovative fee monetization mechanism allows participating applications to share up to 90% of transaction fees, helping the development of the ecosystem. Game contracts have performed well and currently contribute about 25% of transaction fees. Sonic's $200 million innovation fund further promotes the expansion of the developer ecosystem and application landing, demonstrating its potential as a DeFi and Web3 infrastructure.
