Circle Launches Stablecoin Payment Non-Custodial Dispute Resolution Solution Refund Protocol
According to official news, Circle has announced that Circle Research has released the Refund Protocol, a smart contract that supports stablecoin payment non-custodial custody and on-chain dispute resolution. It is designed for composability and transparency in on-chain commerce, supporting lock-up periods, arbitrator-mediated refunds, and off-chain protocol-based early withdrawals.
Additionally, the Refund Protocol supports on-chain dispute resolution and USDC payment refunds without the need for centralized custody or trust.
