Solana Launches New Verification Service: Solana Attestation Service (SAS)
On May 24, Solana announced the launch of the new verification service, Solana Attestation Service (SAS), which can be used to verify any content, aiming to provide a trust layer for the internet capital markets.
SAS allows off-chain data to be associated with any Solana wallet, enabling applications to verify information such as KYC/identity verification, investor accreditation, and on-chain reputation, while maintaining privacy through signed verification.
