One of Pakistan's largest newspapers, Daily Pakistan, previously reported that the country intended to appoint Michael Saylor, Executive Chairman of Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy), as its national strategic cryptocurrency advisor to explore how Bitcoin could be used as a national reserve asset. However, according to the latest updates, representatives of the Pakistan Crypto Council have denied these reports.
