Tether Mints an Additional 1 Billion USDT
According to Jinse Finance, Whale Alert monitoring shows that Tether minted 1 billion USDT on the Ethereum network 3 minutes ago. Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated that this is an authorized but not yet issued transaction, meaning it will be used as inventory for the next issuance request and on-chain swaps.
