Data: An Ancient Whale Makes First Transfer in 14.5 Years, Possibly Holding Around $457 Million in BTC
According to ChainCatcher, crypto analyst AiYi (@ai_9684xtpa) has monitored that an address made its first outbound transaction yesterday since January 2011, suspected to be an ancient whale dormant for 14.5 years. Two hours ago, the recipient of this address transferred 50 BTC to another address, which has previously interacted with an exchange, B2C2, and Galaxy Digital–related addresses. This ancient address still holds 3,963 BTC (approximately $457 million), with a historical acquisition cost as low as $0.32.
