According to CoinWorld, Rick Rieder, Chief Investment Officer at BlackRock, is a potential candidate for Federal Reserve Chairman under the Trump administration and has long been a supporter of bitcoin. He believes that bitcoin can diversify portfolio risk and store value, and compared bitcoin's crash in 2022 to the internet bubble. His recognition of bitcoin in early 2020 preceded bitcoin's surge, and BlackRock currently operates the largest spot bitcoin ETF in the United States.
