Lighter collaborates with Axiom to launch Lighter EVM
PANews reported on January 31 that Lighter announced on the X platform its collaboration with Axiom to launch Lighter EVM. This is an EVM-equivalent rollup that is natively interoperable with Lighter. Lighter EVM will allow general-purpose applications to compose with Lighter’s markets and liquidity in a low-latency manner.
As a general-purpose rollup, Lighter EVM will be secured by OpenVM zkVM while maintaining compatibility with the existing Lighter core financial engine, which supports trading platforms and spot trading.
