Industrial Producer Price Trends in the Euro Area and EU – December 2025
According to preliminary data from Eurostat, the European Union’s statistical authority, industrial producer prices in December 2025 fell by 0.3% in the euro area and by 0.4% across the EU compared to the previous month. This follows a rise in November 2025, when prices increased by 0.7% in the euro area and 0.8% in the EU.
Looking at the year-on-year figures, December 2025 saw industrial producer prices drop by 2.1% in the euro area and by 1.9% in the EU compared to December 2024. However, when considering the annual average for 2025 versus 2024, there was a modest increase: prices rose by 0.3% in the euro area and by 0.5% in the EU.
