Report: To resolve a series of lawsuits related to the "Roundup" herbicide, Bayer is preparing to launch a settlement plan worth over $10 billions.

The German consortium plans to propose a $7.5 billion class action settlement agreement through a case filed in a Missouri state court in the United States. This agreement aims to resolve existing lawsuits and cover potential claims that may arise over the next 20 years. As part of this effort, Bayer is also preparing to announce the provision of $3 billion to settle existing U.S. cases. In these cases, former "Roundup" users allege that the herbicide caused them to develop non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. (Bloomberg)
