December 2025 New Home Sales Report
The U.S. Census Bureau, together with the Department of Housing and Urban Development, has released the latest figures on new single-family home sales for December 2025. The seasonally adjusted annual rate for new home sales reached 745,000 during this month.
This figure represents a 1.7% decrease (±14.5%) compared to November 2025, when the rate stood at 758,000. However, it marks a 3.8% increase (±18.3%) over the December 2024 total of 718,000 new single-family homes sold.
