Glonghui, February 23|According to The Paper, although the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) does not authorize the president to impose large-scale tariffs, U.S. Trade Representative Jamison Greer still defended his tough trade policy on February 22. In a television interview, Greer stated that the Trump administration will continue to implement its tariff policy and that the United States will not withdraw from trade agreements already reached with the United Kingdom, the European Union, Japan, Switzerland, and others.
