In February 2026, the National Energy Administration issued 198 million green certificates, involving 610,200 renewable energy power generation projects, among which 150 million certificates were tradable, accounting for 75.49%. This period issued 155 million green certificates corresponding to renewable energy electricity for January 2026, accounting for 78.13%. In February 2026, 75.48 million green certificates were traded nationwide, including 29.96 million green certificates for green power transactions. In February 2026, 45.52 million green certificates were traded separately nationwide, among which 7.22 million green certificates for electricity production year 2024 were traded at an average price of 1.21 yuan per certificate; 38.31 million green certificates for electricity production year 2025 were traded at an average price of 5.90 yuan per certificate.
