Trump's remarks trigger another market shock as oil prices plunge 14%

He has instructed to suspend all military strikes on Iran’s power plants and energy infrastructure for five days, on the condition that the ongoing meetings and discussions are successful. Following this news, international oil prices plunged sharply. Brent crude oil futures once fell more than 14% to around $96 per barrel, while WTI crude oil and European natural gas prices also dropped.
