500 BTC owned by Irish drug dealer Clifton Collins, dormant for nearly 10 years, have shown on-chain transfers
ChainCatcher reports that Collins purchased approximately 6,000 BTC from proceeds of cannabis sales between 2011 and 2012, and distributed them across 12 wallets. His private key was stored in paper form and hidden in a fishing rod box in a rented house in Galway, Ireland. After Collins was arrested in 2017, the house was cleared out and his personal belongings were sent to a landfill.
