Broadcom appoints Alphabet executive as Chief Financial Officer

Broadly Finance April 3｜On April 2 local time, Broadcom announced the appointment of Amie Thuener as the company's Chief Financial Officer, effective June 12. The current CFO, Kirsten M. Spears, will retire soon. Spears will serve until the above date, and will be retained as an advisor for nine months afterward to ensure a smooth transition. Thuener previously worked at Alphabet, serving as Vice President, Corporate Controller, and Chief Accounting Officer since 2018. Prior to joining Alphabet, Thuener was employed at PwC as Managing Director of the Transaction and Accounting Advisory Services division.
