US Dollar Slipping Versus the Canadian Dollar
US Dollar Weakens Following Ceasefire Announcement
After news of a ceasefire between the United States and Iran, the US dollar declined against the Canadian dollar and several other currencies during Wednesday's trading session. Although the agreement has already seen some breaches, it remains to be seen whether the truce will hold.
From a technical perspective, the currency pair rebounded slightly from the 200-day EMA, indicating the possibility of further upward movement. Given the US dollar's relatively higher interest rates compared to its counterparts, it may not be wise to bet against this pair at the moment.
