Golden Ten Data reported on April 10 that market analyst Chris Anstey commented on the CPI: the price of home goods fell by 0.2% month-on-month, marking the largest decline since the end of 2024. In this category, one would have expected to see the effects of tariffs. Remember, March was the month after the Supreme Court ruled that most of Trump's tariffs were invalid, and those tariffs were subsequently replaced by a lower 10% levy.
