Frontier Airlines Chief Commercial Officer Bobby Schroeter stated during the earnings call: "Drawing from previous capacity adjustments made by Spirit Airlines and the resulting revenue, we believe their exit will support a 3%-5% increase in future revenue per available seat mile (RASM)." Four years ago, Frontier Airlines was a planned merger partner with Spirit Airlines. Later, JetBlue intervened with an all-cash offer, but that deal was ultimately blocked by a U.S. judge in 2024.
