Two Iranian oil tankers attacked near the Strait of Hormuz

Golden Ten Data reported on May 8 that two radio recordings provided by crew members on ships stranded near the Strait of Hormuz on the 8th indicated that two oil tankers were attacked and requested assistance that day. According to the ship names “SEASTARIII” and “SEVDA” mentioned in the recordings, both vessels are Iranian oil tankers. Analysts pointed out that the relevant recordings may be communications between Iranian personnel regarding the ship attacks, as well as calls to nearby Iranian forces for assistance.
