Bank of America strategist says the strength of the US stock market rally in recent years is historically rare
The team led by Michael Hartnett stated that the S&P 500 Index is expected to achieve an annual increase of about 20%, while gold could potentially rise by 30%. The strategists noted that such sustained and significant gains for the stock market have only occurred during World War II, several relatively peaceful years after the war, and during the bubble phase from 1995 to 1999. The long-term rally in gold appeared during the stagflation period of the 1970s. (Bloomberg)
