NVIDIA appoints former Goldman Sachs veteran Suzanne Nora Johnson to its Board of Directors
According to 动察 Beating monitoring, Bloomberg reported that NVIDIA has appointed former Goldman Sachs Vice Chairman Suzanne Nora Johnson as a director, further adding an experienced executive with expertise in both the financial industry and philanthropy to the chipmaker's board.
NVIDIA stated in a release that the appointment will take effect on July 13, at which point the board will expand to 11 members. The company said that Johnson is expected to serve as a member of the Audit Committee after joining.
Johnson, 68, previously held several positions at Goldman Sachs, including overseeing research operations and serving as Global Head of Healthcare.
