Tokenized RWA Market Cap Surges 256.7% in 15 Months to Reach $193.2 Billion
BlockBeats News, May 11th, according to Coingecko data, as of March 31, 2026, the total market capitalization of Real World Assets (RWA) increased from $54.2 billion at the beginning of 2025 to $193.2 billion, a growth of 256.7%. Although the market capitalization of tokenized RWA is only 6.4% of the stablecoin market capitalization, it has significantly increased from 2.7% at the beginning of 2025, indicating that its growth rate has exceeded stablecoins in the past year.
Tokenized US Treasuries remain the largest asset class, adding $90 billion during the period (+225.5%), contributing to over half of the market capitalization growth in this sector. Especially after surpassing the $100 billion mark for the first time on February 11, 2026, the growth momentum slightly accelerated.
Meanwhile, as the tokenization of other asset classes accelerates and gains more attention, the market share of tokenized US Treasuries has decreased slightly from 73.7% to 67.2%. As of the end of the first quarter of 2026, tokenized Commodities account for 28.7% of this sector's market capitalization, while tokenized Stocks and tokenized ETFs represent 2.5% and 1.5%, respectively.
