The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) in the United States integrates Chainlink to build an on-chain collateral system.
ChainCatcher reports that the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) has announced that its blockchain-based collateral management platform, Collateral AppChain, will integrate Chainlink infrastructure to advance traditional financial markets towards around-the-clock, near real-time collateral management and settlement. DTCC stated that the platform is built on the Besu blockchain and will leverage Chainlink's Runtime Environment (CRE) and data standards to support asset pricing, valuation, margin calculations, collateral optimization, and settlement processes. By tokenizing assets and automating processes via smart contracts, the platform enables real-time collateral flow across institutions, markets, and time zones.
