On May 13, SoftBank Group reported that as of March 31, it had recorded cumulative investment gains of $45 billion from its investment in OpenAI. In April 2026, a total of $20 billion in loans was utilized, primarily for investing in OpenAI, with $2.5 billion repaid in the same month. During the fiscal year 2025/26, $16.25 billion worth of T-Mobile shares were sold.
