According to ChainCatcher, The Block reported that Sharplink CEO Joseph Chalom stated that the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq are promoting 24/7 trading, the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation in the US is advancing tokenized collateral, and with Bullish's acquisition of Equiniti, the process of public equities on-chain may be progressing faster than the market expects.

At the same time, the stock prices of several Ethereum reserve companies have fallen sharply from their summer 2025 highs, and the ratio of market capitalization to net asset value has contracted significantly. Chalom noted that some companies are under pressure due to issuing preferred stock or convertible bonds too early; Sharplink is more focused on equity financing and staking yields, and strives to keep its balance sheet simple.

He also stated that over the past year and a half, Bitcoin and Ethereum have behaved more like risk assets, but as stablecoins, tokenized assets, DeFi, and AI applications expand on Ethereum, the long-term performance of Ethereum may further diverge from Bitcoin.
