Institution: Nikkei Index may reach 65,000 points by the end of the year

The economist stated that the index is expected to reach around 73,000 points by the end of 2027 and around 80,000 points by the end of 2028. "However, if the conflict in the Middle East escalates, not only leading to a rise in crude oil prices but also evolving into a serious supply constraint issue, then the expected trajectory of asset prices, including stocks, may be revised downward," he noted.
