Bank of America survey shows investors no longer favor European stocks

The survey stated that a net 4% of the fund managers surveyed said they are underweight European stocks relative to global markets. In contrast, before the outbreak of war, a net 35% of managers believed that stocks from this continent would outperform the global market. Waning confidence in the European economy is driving funds to withdraw from European stock markets. The survey found that nearly one-third of European fund managers surveyed expect the continent's economic growth to slow in the coming months, the highest proportion since October 2024.
