According to Anna Paulson, President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, the current interest rate level is suitable for addressing elevated price pressures and exerts downward pressure on inflation. She believes that the mildly restrictive monetary policy helps mitigate the impact of price increases caused by tariffs and the Middle East conflict. Paulson also said that it is "healthy" for investors to start considering scenarios where interest rates may need to be raised.
