Polymarket applies to launch parlay betting for sports events contracts in the US
Odaily reports that prediction market provider Polymarket submitted a self-certification document to the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) on Wednesday, applying to list parlay trading for sports event contracts in the U.S.—that is, multi-condition combination prediction contracts. Polymarket stated that this product consists of two or more underlying sports event contracts, and only if all specified sub-event outcomes are met will the contract settle at $1; otherwise, it settles at zero. The document shows that the listing date will be no earlier than May 21, 2026. Another document indicates that, due to the involvement of trade secrets, Polymarket has requested that the CFTC keep the related exhibits confidential.
