Wendy's appoints fast food industry veteran Robert Wright as CEO

Glonghui, May 21｜Wendy's announced that the company has appointed fast-food industry veteran Robert Wright as Chief Executive Officer, returning to the fast-food chain. Wright will assume the roles of Chief Executive Officer and President starting Thursday and will also join the Board of Directors. Wright most recently served as CEO and President of Potbelly and was previously Chief Operating Officer at Wendy's. He has also held management positions at Domino's Pizza, Charleys Philly Steaks, and Checkers Drive-In Restaurants. In addition, interim CEO Ken Cook will continue serving as Chief Financial Officer during the transition period.
