WTI crude oil futures quickly dropped from $100.40/barrel to $97.64/barrel, nearly completely giving back earlier intraday gains. The US stock market turned positive, US Treasury prices regained most of their losses, and the 30-year US Treasury yield moved lower. The Bloomberg Dollar Index erased gains, while the Emerging Market FX Index extended its advance.
