(1) The Indian government has approved the export of 8,606 tonnes of raw sugar to the United States. (2) According to a notification from the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), under the Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) scheme, the quota for exporting 8,606 metric tonnes of raw cane sugar to the United States from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026, has been confirmed. (3) Generally, the ban on the export of raw sugar from India will remain in effect until September 30, 2026.
