Golden Ten Data reported on June 1 that NVIDIA is launching a new chip to enter the personal computer market, aiming to challenge Intel's dominance in this sector. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang stated at Computex Taipei that starting this fall, NVIDIA’s new RTX Spark super chip will be used for the first time in notebooks and desktops from leading PC brands such as Dell Technologies and Lenovo Group. This product is a combination of a microprocessor and a graphics chip, manufactured with the assistance of MediaTek, and will run on Microsoft’s Windows for Arm operating system. The RTX super chip will feature a central processor with up to 20 computing cores and a Blackwell architecture graphics processor with 6,144 cores. These two components will share built-in memory, allowing for better handling of large artificial intelligence models and high-end gaming. They will communicate using NVIDIA's NVLink interface, bringing part of data center technology to personal computers. The chip design will be manufactured by TSMC using the company's 3N process technology.
