Toke and Tether are discussing introducing USDT payments at gas stationsThe pilot project will mainly be used to provide payment convenience at gas stations in El Salvador operated by Puma Energy, the fuel distribution agency under Tether. Under this pilot scheme, consumers in El Salvador will be able to use USDT to purchase fuel or snacks. An intermediary will then convert these tokens into US dollars, which will eventually be paid to Puma Energy under Tether.
